Rob Littlepage's Beginning and Advanced Courses at the California School of Garden Design prepared me extremely well for landscape design out in the real world. I had no background in landscape design before taking the courses, but Rob does a fantastic job of not only teaching you what you need to know, but building your confidence in your landscape design capabilities. Starting from basic theories of shape and flow, you are soon considering lighting and irrigation. Rob takes you through not only the ideas and concepts, but the details as well.

A week after I finished the Advanced course, I was placed at a Design/Build firm in San Diego County where I live. I am also fortunate enough to be going to South Africa for three months for an apprenticeship with one of the foremost designers in South Africa. Rob helped me in getting placement in both situations. Not only does he prepare you, he pushes you to your full potential. The California School of Garden Design was intense but well worth it. I am enjoying my work now and look forward to Africa as well..
