Company Philosophy

We believe that design is a process of problem-solving and creative steps we, as designers, take in order to achieve the goals and requirements of both our clients and their site. 

Each situation and client is unique and therefore offers its own opportunities to create a new and imaginative garden. One element we strive to include in every garden is water - for its sound, movement and ability to relax the visitor. 

Design Intent
The intent of any design is closely tied to the desires and needs of the client as well as the possibilities of the site as seen by the designer.

Although each project has its own issues and special conditions, Robert Littlepage, APLD; Assoc. ASLA and Associates work to address the following concerns in all of our commissions:

                      The needs and desires of the client through continual dialogue and discussion

                      A gentle transition and blending of the interior and exterior spaces of the home

                      "Rewards" - how do we entice visitors (and owners) out into the landscape?

                      Art - does sculpture or other garden ornament belong
